Midwife/Nurse for Women's Healthcare in Gävleborg

The Women's Healthcare in Gävleborg is located in Gävle and Hudiksvall. At the maternity/gynaecology department in Gävle, we are about 50 employees responsible for 18 care places for maternity and gynaecology.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a nurse with us, you will collaborate with other professional groups and care units within and outside women's healthcare, as well as mentor students, interns, and newly hired staff. We work in care teams consisting of nurses and nursing assistants. We operate around the clock and require weekend shifts.

As a nurse with us, you will, among other things:

• perform patient-centered nursing work such as identifying nursing needs, prescribing, and prioritizing preventive measures
• ensure that patients receive the care, attention, and information they need with a focus on good communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a flexible and committed person who enjoys close collaboration with everyone in a varied everyday life. You are interested in development and improvement work and are confident in your professional role, and you have the ability to meet people in a professional and empathetic manner.

In the role of nurse, you must:

• be a licensed nurse.

For this position, it is an advantage if you have experience working in a care department. We place great importance on your personal experiences and qualities.
